Most men today who are in difficult marriages can only see the benefits of leaving and starting over with a fresh start. The truth is that God has allowed your current marriage to exist to be used to glorify Him. This may take some hard work but at the end of the day the person you end up being will be The Mighty Man He is calling you to be. You will also be the person you and your spouse can live with.

Some men find themselves in marriages where the wife is asking for the divorce or the wife has been caught in relationships out side the marriage. Sure, this gives you the husband the freedom to move on and start over. You can blame her and feel pretty justified to move on. The question you should ask yourself is "How did this happen and what part did I play in this?" You aren’t an excuse for her sin but you need to take responsibility for your actions and ask God for forgiveness and seek for reconciliation in your marriage.
